Rafe a little slow on the up take is not slow in ordering himself a wife by mail order to gain control over the family ranch. This is a fun book to read and you will like it. Emmeline afraid that she has gone the way of her Aunt becomes a mail order bride. She was married by proxy and left to meet her new groom. You experience all of your emotions with this tale of Rafe and Emmeline. By the author of "The Bluegrass Dream" and "Natchez Above The River"
I just love linda lael miller's stories. I finish these books in a couple days.
Rafe is determined to win the competition and inherit the Triple M ranch. A wonderful start to Linda Miller's McKettrick series. Loved the Mail-order bride storyline. You'll laugh and at times want to hit Rafe over the head. I have read all the McKettrick series and enjoyed them all, have even read some of them twice.Would love to see more of the McKettrick's.
This is the first of a series by LLM, starting in the Old West and the final book is in modern day. It has been awhile since I've read this series, but I definitely remember that the whole series was excellent and a great time with a very interesting family. I would recommend the whole series to everyone.
Predictable, but humorous and entertaining. A fun read, your basic characters, one-dimensional. Situations as you encounter in most romances. The first half was better than the second. I enjoyed the McKettrick books, but believe I prefer Maggie Osborne's western romances for the more complicated stories.
